Father,
May Barack Obama realize that this world is passing away. May he realize the impermanence of all things not connected to You. May he, by Your Spirit, come to be a man who considers eternity, and leads accordingly.

Heavenly Father;
Plese help our country and it’s leaders.
Please help President Bush in the last few days he has left in office to be led by Your Spirit in the decisions that are being made that affect us all and especially the Middle East and Israel.
We pray for the peace and protection of Israel as You’ve asked us in Your word to pray.
We lift up President-elect Barack Obama as he will soon be inaugurated into office to take over for President Bush.
Heavenly Father, please touch his heart and life by the power of Your Holy Spirit and keep him in Your will.
Please help President-elect Barack Obama to see Your power and humble himself to Your control in his life.
In Jesus’ name we pray.

Heavenly Father;
We’re very concerned for the peace of Israel and for the constant deception that is going on that hides the fact that many are trying to kill the Jews and destroy the Israel nation entirely.
This is not secret information, as Israel’s enemies have openly let the world know that this is what they really want.
As President Bush has said openly that he supports Israel and now as President-elect Obama will soon be taking office, we continue to pray for the peace of Israel, and that they will be able to hold onto their land which You have given them.
We pray that you’ll lead and guide President-elect Obama and those working along side of him toward supporting Israel and standing behind them.

Dear Lord,
I pray for Obama that he will seek You. Please give him Your counsel. Give him an ear to hear You. I pray for his salvation, for a hunger and thirst after righteousness and a desire to know You.

Lord, as we come up to the inauguration we pray that you will be honored and that you show Obama his great need for You. Stir in his heart Your truth, give him great wisdom as leader of this nation to make decisions that are honorable!
Heavenly Father;
Please help President-elect Barack Obama come to know Jesus that he may be reconcilled to You.
Today we pray for President Obama, Lord we cry out to You, that You would intervene in the heart of this leader You have raised up. O Lord we cry out to You for the unborn, O Lord please, please grant mercy to these babies, please, please minister to President Obama’s heart show Him your heart for these children. O Lord let the scales fall from his eyes like Paul on the way to Damascus. We pray these things in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen
Lord, please bring President Obama to you. Please bring him into a saving knowledge of your Son. Give him a heart to seek You.
Father my heart is saddened that our President has chosen against life in a recent decision on abortion. Father, open our President’s eyes that he might see the reality of his decision. Father, give him courage to make the tough decisions that will be best for our nation and other nations we have influence over. Use his little girls to model Your ways to him. Send people into his life that will give him wise and Godly counsel, not spiritually bankrupt words. Protect him from those who wish to harm him and if he doesn’t know You, may that happen soon. Father, you are our hope, our defender, and our God. Help us to remember this as events in our world unfold. Forgive us our sins and remind us of where we came from when we are quick to point out the faults of others. Revive Your people.
Heavenly Father;
Thank you for using this blog to remind us to pray for our leaders. Thank You for Your work in and through our lives. Please help President-elect Obama to be moved by Your Holy Spirit in his influence in our country. May he honor the gift of life – as he looks at his own family, may he get a glimplse of Your love for all mankind – especially the unborn. May he have courage to stand for righteousness in the face of opposition – knowing that he’s serving You in his position as president and will receive Your help and grace to stand through the difficulties which he sees in front of him each day. Please guide and protect him and lead him to Jesus each day.

We lift the leadership of our country today and ask for Your help and intervention. Please use what’s going on today to cause leadership to consider You. May they know You are God! There is no other! In Jesus name -

O Lord God ~ please move in Obama’s life, You alone are able…You alone raise up leaders and tear them down…Father change his heart…I pray that he would become a new person in Christ! Please bring Christian counselors to him, people filled with the Holy Spirit! Give him ears to hear Lord we pray!
Heavenly Father;
Please move in President-elect Barack Obama’s heart today through the power of Your love and grace and show him how Your mercies, which are new every morning, and Your long-suffering and patience, coupled with Your Loving-Kindnesses, have been showered upon him, that he may come to You in repentance and not take glory to himself, nor look to any of his efforts to make himself righteous and worthy of You.
Please help him to have a heart of true humility that he may see Jesus – as Your word says, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” (Matt. 5:8)
Please show him his sin against You, that he should not exalt himself nor think that he’s come to this position of leadership by his own efforts.
For You, in Your great mercy and love are using him for Your purposes.
And if he will not repent and see You for who You are, he will die in his sin. As no one can come to You on their own merits and expect Your praise as Your Word says in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” In Jesus’ name – Amen.

Heavenly Father;
We have great concern over some of the decision President-elect Obama is making concerning supporting government funding to end the life of the unborn children, even in the later stages.
Please speak into his life that he may know that You hold all life precious and the babies who are still in the womb are people You’ve created in Your image.
Please help him honor life and be an example to all who are looking to him for leadership.

Heavenly Father;
Please continue to speak to President-elect Barack Obama and to those whom he has appointed to work with him who give him counsel.
Please teach them the fear of the Lord that they may know that You alone are God and there is no other.
May they know they must answer ultimately to You.
Please help President-elect Obama to have a change of heart regarding his understanding of how to serve the people and how to lead this country.
May he repent and serve You first and find that You will help him in every other decision he needs to make.
May You be glorified and honored again in our nation, for You alone are God!

Thank You that President-elect Obama is showing compassion for the ordingary people by listening to them.
May his motives be pure and may he turn to You for guidance that he may be led by You.
Please help him read Your word and pray to receive Jesus in humility of heart that he may hear and follow Your call upon his life.
Please help him to know Jesus as his Messiah, his Savior, Who LIVES!
Please help him to see life from Your perspective, which is so different from how he’s seeing life right now, as he’s supporting abortion in our own country and abroad – perhaps thinking this will save money and help the nations economy.

Thank You for this day. We remember that it was by Your love for us that You sent Jesus to go to the cross for us that we may have life with You. Please lead President-elect Obama to You that He may personally know Your love for him and have eternal life through the blood of Jesus. In His Name – Amen.
