Father,
May your people pray for our President. May we be earnest and regular in our prayers for Him. May his heart be broken and surrendered before you. You have said that “righteousness exalts a nation”. We acknowledge that there is much in this nation, and in Your church, that is not righteous.
Forgive us, Your people, for our compromises. May our President find pardon by the blood of Your Son.
